STRATEGIC PROJECT FOR SUPPORT OF CLUSTER COMPETITIVENESS INITIATIVES
At its session held on 30 March 2016, the Government of the Republic of Croatia adopted the Decision on Adoption of the Smart Specialization Strategy of the Republic of Croatia (S3) for the termination of 2016-2020 and the Action Program for Proven Smart Specialization Strategies of the Republic of Croatia for the period from 2016 to 2017 which came into force on the day of its enactment.
The Strategy is one of the preconditions for withdrawing funds from the EU Fund, containing objectives and priority activities related to the research, development and commercialization of innovation.
The document is its final response to a European Commission document – Europe 2020 Strategy and is a key prerequisite for mobilizing European Structural and Investment Funds under Thematic Objective 1: Strengthening research, technological development and innovation of the Operational Program “Competitiveness and Cohesion” 2014- 2020th
Subsequent to the seventh, on 9 May 2016, the Ministry of the Economy, Entrepreneurship and Crafts concluded a Grant Agreement for projects financed by the European Structural and Investment Funds in the 2014-2020 financial period.
